I love outdoor art! Beautiful stuff.
Thanks – it was truly inspiring. So far, I’ve only done some molds (greenman face) and “craft” things for my garden. This makes me want to try so much more.
What stunning gardens and sculptures. I love the sculpture seat or as my daughter is telling me -the rock holders!
Yes – they look like they’d stand up to the wear of ages even in my garden!

Well, if you’re ever around SF East Bay – the Bancroft Gardens are a good destination. The Sculpture show is a short lived event, but the gardens are always interesting.
Very interesting.
Some of those pieces I believe I could make – – – but if I did, no one would call it art. Hmmmmmmm, makes me wonder how we decide what is and what isn’t art.
Well, I don’t weld or pour bronze – so most are out of my reach! Hmn, perusing favorite art quotes – maybe I’ll join next week’s Fragmented Fridays and post a few.
Oh this is very, very cool! I love that big jackrabbit thing on the fence!
The fence is part of the sculpture piece, it’s not just that big jack rabbit. It was pretty funny as it was plunked in with the more serious expensive pieces.

You’ll probably come down Ygnacio to get to the gardens – Ygnacio is the far end marker (Target) of Walnut Creek downtown (the real downtown is about 6 blocks in). Lots of fun and different places to stop for a bite to eat.
